You have to know that there are two city centres: Centre of Berlin WEST and Berlin EAST.

Near the exhibiton ground are the districts "Charlottenburg" - the citycentre Berlin West with the tourist-highlights Kurfürstendamm, Gedächtniskirche, KDW and "Spandau".

The citycentre Berlin East - with Alexanderplatz, Potsdamer Platz, Gendarmenmarkt, Friedrichstraße is a little bit further away (25 min. driving)
